As fourth generation farmers on our family farm, my Husband and I are passionate about both preserving and sharing the beauty of the land we tend, not only for ourselves but for our little girl.
My love of flowers has come from growing up at Garvachy, surrounded by beauty. From our meadows, to the hillside, to the glens and the forests, my work is inspired by the landscape that surrounds me and the quiet magic I find in nature.
Meet the Flower Fairy
Hi, I’m Kirsten (the Flower Fairy at Garvachy Farm). I am a Florist based on our family farm (Garvachy), nestled in the hills above Minard, looking over Loch Fyne in Mid Argyll, Scotland. Creating seasonal, sustainably sourced, farm foraged and thoughtfully designed floral arrangements, brings me joy and I love to share this ‘magic’ with others.
The first seeds
My love of flowers has come from growing up at Garvachy, surrounded by beauty. From our meadows, to the hillside, to the glens and the forests, my work is inspired by the landscape that surrounds me and the quiet magic I find in nature. My Grandma shared my love of flowers and the natural world around us. She would often visit with posies of foraged blooms to share with us. I saw the joy that foraging, creating and gifting these blooms brought to her. To us, she was the original ‘Flower Fairy’.

For me, flowers are a way of telling stories of love, joy, sympathy and connection. I am passionate about using flowers to tell your story, whether you are looking for arrangements for weddings, events, bespoke arrangements or as a way to say farewell.
